Nice issue. Great illustration. – Gary
Just wanted to tell you that I am delighted with how my story looks in issue ten of TT... Thanks again. – Scott
Hey! The new issue looks great, and the stories seem to be good choices. I look forward to finishing the whole ish! And thanks for running … I suspected it was going to take a UK mag to run it. All the American mags that turned it down did so because they were afraid they'd offend someone … I hope you keep this excellent magazine publishing. There's far too many dreadful small-press magazines wasting paper and electrons, and not enough with dedicated editors who really care about what they publish. – Anon
It's great to hear from you, and to hear issue 10 is now up. Yes it is better late than never, it was all worth the wait too. … However, that cover art sends a chill down my spine like those eyes stare right through me. lol. … Now I can go ahead and order a copy or two and sit back in bed and read the magazine, some of the titles to the stories are really catchy. Can't wait! Thank you once again for having me on board Twisted Tongue, I'm always honored to be a part your magazine. – Anthony
Wish I could buy your mag from WHSmith or somewhere like that I hate waiting for it to be delivered it would look so cool on the shelves. Just got my issue today, that cover art is amazing where did you get the artist from, he’s amazing. Only managed to read a couple of flashes, I always read them first, I have a routine on how to read your mag my mum thinks I’m crazy but she doesn’t understand how much your mag means to me. Best wished to everyone. – Kale
Another smashing issue—you never let me down!!! J Kingsley
WOW & WOW & WOW & WOW!!! LOVE the cover work, so creepy I ADORE it. AND WOW & WOW & WOW & WOW!!! LOVE the stories there’s some fucked up ones there but they’re great!!! LOVE U TWISTED TONGUE – Em
WOW! DOUBLE WOW! What a fantastic issue! I don't know where to start. Instead of buying books for my friends and family for Christmas I will be buying them a copy of Twisted Tongue! In one weekend I've only managed to get through less than half of the magazine there is so much to read. Enjoying every moment! -- Dave -- reader
What! No Sleepwalker!? I've followed this fine comic from day one I do hope Zombie Cop returns meaner than ever. However, I pleasantly enjoyed the naughty Christmas elf strip. I didn't know elves could look so sexy. Hail to the creator! -- Danny Loyd -- reader
I adore Christmas themed stories, this fine packed issue is a superb read! Choosing a favourite story is impossible! They all deserve merit! -- Michelle Burns -- reader
Yet again, another smashing issue. I am very proud to hold a copy of this issue. I have seen many magazines bring out Christmas specials, but I have never seen anything like this--I can't believe the magazine is so cheap! -- John -- reader
A FANTASTIC issue, Claire. Busman's Holiday is one to remember, ideal to spook the kids, this story would make a great comic, just like this issues new comic, the night before Christmas, I remember my own mother reciting the original version as a child, I love this altered version. -- Liam -- reader
I've just spent an amazing hour, perhaps more, I wasn't keeping an eye on my watch for once, reading **Twisted Tongue Vol 3.
I thought I was a bit crazy as far as my writing was concerned, but
there are even crazier writers. You have some really good writers out
there and luckily for all of us in Twisted Tongue. I'd like to say
thanks to all of them and you, for helping me through a sleepy Saturday afternoon somewhere in the middle of France.
I shall now go and buy issues 1 and 2 to complete the collection.
Keep up the good work, Dave --published in issue 3
Claire, I don’t know how you’ve managed it, but once again you’ve surprised with yet another knock out publication. What surprises me most is that you’ve managed to make this volume better eventhough you have had health issues. Many congratulations. Anon
Dear Ed,
I can see now why you have rejected my past submissions. But I am determined to see my name in print in Twisted Tongue! It will be so cool seeing my name alongside such writers as Kirstylee Davies, Tony Campbell and Harry Bushman. Michael -- Reader
Twisted Tongue ROCKS!!! Long live Twisted Tongue!!! Number One Fan Dan -- Reader
Congratulations on a superb magazine. Clare
Oh my, dear Claire, I have been seated at my PC for several long minutes trying to decide which piece I have enjoyed the most. Each issue seems to grow. I am torn between One Zombie Too Many and Resurrection Diaries. I have sensed a pattern in your magazine, the first story and the last short story in each magazine, in my eyes, are the best story, have you done this on purpose or is it just coincidence? Sal -- Reader
Hi Claire, me again. Thought I’d drop an email to congratulate you on such an impressive magazine. The high quality throughout is amazing. Mark
So many stories so many favs! I had to read the next part of The Doll’s House first. The Lift, The Red Garter, Nightlife, Resurrection Diaries I don’t think there was one I didn’t like! Sorry, like is the wrong word LOVED!!! And lets not forget the flash fiction, Sweetmeats, Missing, Second Hand Rose and Bitch. Oh yes, and the poetry, and poetry is something that I have never delved into until I started reading Twisted Tongue! Clare Hill’s poem Dark Side Of the Bench is harrowing, an excellent write. And you’ve got to love Darby Eakins Love or Masterbation. I think this time round Twisted Tongue has out done themselves with their articles. Love Joe Bieschke’s artwork! And Mark Billingham, Mark Billingham!!! I have all of his books, you could say I’m his number one fan! Congratulations to James Hazlehurt for snapping Mark up for us. One day I’m going to send an entry or two to the flash fiction competition, I absolutely adore the winning story, so frightening, the thought of it puts a shiver up my spine. And last but most certainly not least, the comic, Sleepwalker, as you are aware I am such a great fan of this. Can’t wait for more. Michelle -- Reader
WOW! Love the cover! Love the magazine! Quarterly is too long to wait for my fix! Caroline
This magazine is something the world has been waiting for, let's just hope that we've been waiting too! JB - Published in issue two
I bought the 2nd issue and I'm amazed! The other authors were all top notch! I feel like I'm in good company in your magazine and I'm proud to be a part of it. Thanks so much! JD - Published in issue two
Got it yesterday… must say that I’m VERY impressed. The layout is really unique, and the works are really top notch. I don’t know how you do it! I am really honored to be in there, in such a world-class presentation. I really mean it. Ward - Published in issue two
Twisted tongue you have made me into an addict. I thought the first issue would have been a one off as I was very impressed with that issue, but issue two WOW it’s got better. I don’t know where to start. Yet again I have many favorites, Monochrome Outlaw is an exceptional story, out of the flash fiction my favorite is Royal Blood, poetry A Most Exotic Lady (does the author know my wife?).
Please send my congratulations to the creators of Linear Comics for yet another, if not a most impressive comic, looking forward to seeing how Zombie Cop progresses.
I could spend all day listing what I love about Twisted Tongue. Sal - Reader
Congratulations to yet another wonderful magazine may the magazine grow stronger with each issue. Joanne - Reader
Excellent artwork, but I would like to see more from your talented artists. I was so please to see that the PDF is now available in color, it would be nice if the printed version were printed in color too. My praise goes out to Courtney Jones’ illustration, I hope she continues and thrives with her artwork. I haven’t read the magazine from cover to cover, there is so much choice, however what I have read I am very impressed. Anon - Reader
This is a magazine any author should be proud of being published in — I know I would if they would accept my work! Glen - Reader
WOW!!! SPEACHLESS!!! Michelle Richards - Reader
Will Zombie Cop be released as one comic when the story is complete? I am an avid comic collector and I would be very proud to have one in my collection. High regards to the creators. Paul Shinwood - Reader
The preview was very good, I can't wait to read the whole issue. JF - Reader
Just received Issue 2 by the way, looks great. Just read 'Monochrome Outlaw' very strange and a great read. Darren - Reader
Just wanted to let you know that my copies of Twisted Tongue have arrived. . I have, however, read Twisted Tongue issue 2 from cover to cover. Fabulous! Edgy but not so edgy that it's unreadable, great writing and artwork, and a nicely presented magazine. And I'm not just creeping! Clare Hill – Article published in issue two
***What an absolutely stunning and *satisfying* first issue -- crammed with just what we need and want as writers and readers. No new ezine I can recall this century has got it so right so soon. Can't wait for the second issue of *Twisted Tongue*. And the third ... and ... Neil Marr at Bewrite Books***
WOW! This makes a mega difference – a full running comic inside the magazine! Shake hands for me with the creator. Do we get to see more of her next time? Dan - Reader
Congratulations on a great first issue - I really enjoyed it. I'm really not a poetry fan, but I thought the selection in your ezine was brilliant. You seemed to have opened my eyes to it and I'm looking forward to reading more in the next issues. Lorna - Published in issue one
I have read the magazine and I thought the content really good. The stories were great, only the binding (In-house issue) of the pages left a little to be desired, but I was warned! I am surprised that it costs more to put a staple in the middle, I would have thought that would have been the cheaper option. So other than the binding, really good. I will certainly buy again.
